The goal of our Big Sib/Lil Sib Program is to unite the pre-dental members of PDA and the dental students at UB. What essentially happens in this program is that a dental student will be randomly paired with a pre-dental student so that a mentor/mentee relationship may occur. 

From the words of our previous pre-dental liaison of ASDA, Paul:

 

"Why:  I KNOW you guys have TONS of questions, some that you may think are too "stupid" to ask me or admissions committees.  Having someone around to ask them anything is a great thing!    They are willing to help out with anything that you are willing to ask and if they don't know something they will find someone who does or ask me!   They may also have something that might help you, it's great to have people pass down what helped them out!!

Commitment?  NONE AT ALL ON YOUR PART!  if you don't want to contact them that often, you don't have to!  If you want to meet up with them and talk, YOU CAN!  If you want to ask a question once a week, that's great too!  It is in your hands.  Even if you just want to sign up JUST TO HAVE A BACK UP PLAN, that is OKAY!"

 
We are thrilled that it's happening now. The organization of this project is under way as we are currently collecting interested members of both parties.
